The required pre-surgical investigation is better to be done in the place of your residence. But, if necessary, it may be done in Odessa.
Laboratory Tests
- General blood test with thrombosytes and bleeding period
- Urianalysis
- Functional liver tests, prothrombin index
- AIDS and Australian antigen test
- Wasserman reaction
- Blood test for sugar content
- Electrocardiogram
Pre-Operation Reminder for Patients
- Have the required laboratory tests made prior to operation.
- Advise the doctor of any changes (if any) in your health the day before (running nose, empyesis, etc.).
- DO NOT eat or drink during 8 hours before operation.
- Leave your jewellery at home.
- Remove your make-up.
- Take a gown or sports suit, slippers and toilet articles.
- If the operation is on the face, have dark glasses on you.
- It is desirable to leave the Clinic accompanies by somebody of your relatives.
